To fundraise and promote the interests of the charity;

From Supporters (on our website from those who sign up for our email updates and/or at conferences in person): To keep our supporters informed and send updates on TLT’s achievements, fundraising events, latest news, and share other ways one may be involved. We collect your name, email address, phone number and home address. [Phone number and home address are optional. If provided we use those details to reach out to you to provide updates and fundraise.] We provide updates via email, post and sporadically or over the phone.
Financial supporters/Donors: To process donations whether given online, over the phone or in person, we collect your full name, address, email address, and phone number, as well as financial information for payments (I.e. whether you give via direct debit or one-time cheque, etc.), and if provided, a gift aid declaration form. When you sign up to give we will also ask if you want to opt in to our regular supporter communications. If yes, we will keep your details on record to send updates on our organisation’s achievements, to fundraise, and share other ways to be involved.
Please note: We use Donor Box for donations and our site may, from time to time, contain links to other website - third parties. Please note we do not accept any responsibility or liability for the privacy policies (or lack thereof) of these other sites. We suggest check these policies before utilising these sites by submitting your data.
In addition for financial partners that are Organisational partners, we would also store the Organisation name, Contact name (if applicable), and contact email address.
Explicit consent of the data subject so that we can keep you informed about news, events, activities and services.
Processing is necessary for carrying out legal obligations in relation to Gift Aid or under employment, social security or social protection law, or a collective agreement;

Your personal data will be treated as strictly confidential and will only be shared with other members of our organisation in order to carry out a service opted into, for purposes connected with TLT. In most instances, unless the following apply, we will only share your data with third parties outside of TLT with your consent.
Exceptions to the above: email TLT for more information on exceptions, such as ensuring if it is necessary to share it for law enforcement or similar purposes.
We will retain personal data as long as necessary for the purpose provided and while it is still current. If there is question as to whether data is current or whether the purpose that the data was originally provided is still the intended purpose, we will endeavour to be in touch within a reasonable time frame from the time the question is raised.
Gift aid declarations and associated financial paperwork for up to 6 years after the calendar year to which they relate.
