Working with local communities is at the core of everything we do. Transforming Lives today is committed to delivering projects that will have a positive impact and benefit the local communities that they work with.
Transforming Lives has delivered and continues to deliver food programs for those living in sum villages and communities. The food programs feed up to a 1000 people and ensure that those living in extreme poverty receive healthy nutritious food.
Transforming Lives has had the privilege of working with orphanages. The children in these orphanages are supplied with school books, clothing, footwear and toiletries. We have also been able to supply the orphanage with an air conditioning unit for the hotter months.
Transforming Lives provides baby quilted mosquito beds to young mothers living in poor areas and as well as blankets for the colder months. Providing new baby cots with intergrade mosquito nets protects and helps babies from dengue fever, a real threat for infants living in slum areas where hygiene is particularly poor, an inexpensive covering over the babies’ cot can mean the difference between life and death for a child.
